Picasa Web Albums - Scott - FOOTBALL 07 It was really important to me to get these pictures. This is Nathan wearing his first set of shoulder pads and his Chad Johnson jersey. Nolan is throwing the football with him and then they are practicing tackling the yard. Daisy is in one of the pictures. She is 12 weeks old. 8/28/07

Nathan had his first day of 6th grade yesterday and while he was gone, it was Ben and Nolan's turn to spoil Daisy all day. Her new toy is an empty 2 liter bottle with the cap on it. It makes noise and rolls around the house great! She got stun by a bee this morning and whined for me to help her once she got in the house. She followed me around the house and just wanted to be held. It was wonderful. It made me remember how the boys used to put their arms up in the air for me to hold and comfort them.
Nolan and Ben started their sophomore year today. WOW~ I can't believe it!

The boys had an awesome scrimmage against Edina and other metro schools last week. Here is Ben just before he made an incredible tackle.

These are my boys! Scott, Ben (15) me (Janine O'Malley-Lortz) Nathan (11) and Nolan (15). We are on the e-bar on Bone Lake in Wisconsin where our cabin is. We had a great summer and we're looking forward to the boys' birthdays in October. Nolan and Ben are 5' 9, and at the rate that 'my baby' is growing, I bet I'll be the shortest one in the house before the end of the fall.

Daisy

In July we got Daisy, a Basset Hound. We got the pick of the litter and have been spoiling her rotten ever since. Nathan has been a huge help with potty taining during the summer! I bet he would rather wipe up her messes than go to school! Melvin isn't quite sure what to think of her....
