We took Ben into the Dr. last week because of swelling in his left calf. The Dr. ordered an MRI of his leg, drew a bunch of blood, and discovered that Ben had a ruptured Baker's Cyst behind his left knee and Lyme's disease. The Dr. said he should walk on his leg, even though it's very sore. It would help reduce the swelling.
The Lyme's disease is being treated with an antibiotic for one month. Thank God he didn't suffer as bad as Nolan did 4 years ago!
So, Scott, Nolan and Ben have all had it now. Nathan and I shouldn't be far behind! I will make sure to keep on applying repelant and giving the pups their monthly tick meds too!
