Suprise Birthday party 8/29/09 for Mom (65) and Kerri Ann (40)

Neither Mom or Kerri Ann had any idea that the party they were helping organize was actually for both of them. They were both very surpised and really enjoyed themselves. The highlight of Kerri Ann's day was Holly! Mom said she suddenly figured out the whole party situation when she saw Lynda, Dave and Grandpa. The weather was on the chilly side, but it made for a wonderful BBQ with family and friends. We got to mom and dads about 2 hours before people started showing up, so we had some time to prepare for it.






Daisy and Lilly were a real hit! Everyone was feeding them and Melvin stole a hotdog off some kids plate.

Football Scrimmage in Edina 8/30/09

Ben #35 had some awesome hits on Saturday! It was incredible to watch him get in there and shove some people around! Nolan didn't get to play, but he will make up for it and be ready for full contact tomorrow, with the use of his knee brace.

Edina Scrimmage and Birthday Parties

Scott loaded the truck and we left on time, but I was NOT happy with his decision to but the girls in the kennels for the truck ride from St. Cloud to Edina. He finally pulled over in Clearwater and they came up front with us. It was awful having them back there. My lap and heart felt so empty.

A wonderful weekend all the way around!

Scott and Nolan were at the cabin and I stayed home with Ben because he was home to be with Katie from college. After working around the house for 7 hours on Saturday, he left to be with Katie. Nathan spent the weekend at Jackson's cabin.

Ben and I both had a great weekend! He helped me rearrange the livingrooms and his new bedroom upstairs.Yes, this included the back bedroom closet. I had been dreading that for years! The new arrangements has given us more room upstairs and more flexibility in the basement. OH...Oh and my laundry room is now complete with the addition of a new sorting system that makes it easier for ANYONE to do a load. We'll see if THAT happens anytime soon!

Nathan came to work with me today and helped Sarah and me out of a real bind. We kept him really busy and had fun talking about Brett Favre coming to the VIKES!!

Meat Inspectors

Since we stayed home from the cabin this weekend, Scott and the boys made jerky and summer sausage! Daisy, Lilly and Melvin LOVED the raw meat that was tossed their way!

Vikings Training Camp

I took Nathan and my mom to Vikings training camp in Mankato on the last day of camp, Wed. Aug. 12, 2009.

It rained on us in the morning while we waited 45 minutes in line to get good seats. It was well worth the wait, the lack of sleep (due to the excitment) and getting drenched! We saw all the action and got a lot of autographs. Nathan missed out on getting A.P's and Jerad Allen's, but got Kleinsauser's!!
