Our crazy week.

This past week has been a whirlwind of activity! It was Nolan and Ben's birthday on the 24th and the big game was the next day. After every game, the boys go to one of their teammates homes for a huge dinner. They get home late and I can only imagaine how tired they really must be.

Between the weight room in the morning, classes all day, followed by practice and film, then a quick dinner before homework. We only sat the kitchen table as a family once in the past month. (that has to change!) We are all running around nuts!
Nathan has been such a big help with dishes and the dogs! Scott still makes supper every night and I do the laundry and as much cleaning as possible. He is processing all the deer himself with Nathan's help occasionally.
We are all exhausted, but the thrill of watching the boys play keeps us going.
Nolan and Ben are very focused on their football game and are extremely dedicated to striving to do their individual best! I am so proud of them!
The morning after the game Scott, Ben, Nolan and Nathan went to Camp Ripley for the bow hunt. Nolan shot his 3rd for the year, and Nathan got his first hands on gutting experience. Scott, Nolan and Ben guided him through it.

Tech Advances with win over Moorhead 10/25/08

Grandma and Grandpa came to the game!

It was an awesome game; TECH won 34 to 13! The stands were packed and it wasn't as cold as we thought is was going to be. Our boys played fantastic! Ben played more in this game than ever before and was in on some big plays!
Nolan is #40, waiting to get back in the game.

Nathan wore #2 as the Quarterback for his team. He called most all of the plays in this game.

Nathan's last football game in the 7th grade: South beat North 56-0. Way to Go Nathan!!! It was a glorious win, but a sad day. WE LOVE to watch him play so the last game was a bummer at the same time. He gave me the tape off his helmet with his name on it so I could scrapbook it.

Wisconsin bowhunting 10/11/08

Nolan had an explosive weekend hunting in Wisconsin. His good friend Jasper came along for the weekend while Scott had Ben and Nathan at Fort Ripley for the youth hunt.

It was a bummer that not everyone had the luck that Nolan did. He scored his 12th and 13th deer (in 4 years) with his bow this weekend. Nolan and Jasper fit both deer in the trunk of my car to get them home.
Daisy and Lilly love to trail deer! Thats what they think they are doing when they run out to the hanging deer in the backyard.

Tech won another home game against Apollo 28-14.

It was a great game, I am so proud of them!

Al came with us onto the field to congratulate the boys!!

My men are so handsome!!

Nathan's 13th birthday

Nathan (QB) on his 13th birthday and another win! I love his smile, it is so true to who he is and it shows just how much he loves football! He opened presents after dinner and I think he was the most excited about his Hooters gift card from G & G O'Malley.
